I’m a frugal DIYer and am interested in preserving food with a minimum of hardware. I’ve been making jam and chutney for my family for the past 30 years with the help of the book ‘Preserving Food’ by Pamela Dotter. Even with increasing food prices, I am still the only person picking blackberries locally. I hope to encourage more people to try making jam at home.
