I am creating the most useful self sufficiency magazine in print and online to help you become more self sufficient in all aspects of your life, no matter where your starting point is.
I'd like to connect with passionate, self-reliant writers with real-life experience in what they're writing about to contribute to Bournebright and the Suburban Self Sufficiency magazine to share what they know and help others reclaim their independence and freedom.
Past contributors include the amazing Colin the Plumber, Kyle Gibson, James, Janine McQueen and Dr Kat Lindley. I hope you'll join us.
The guides and articles you'll find on this website contain forgotten knowledge and alternative thinking to help you become more self sufficient in your life and I'm currently looking to add more of the following types of posts/articles to the website/magazine:
- ‘How to' style posts
- Guides about growing your own food, generating your own energy, alternative health and creating your own income.
- Curated content (‘best tools for,' ‘top books for,' etc.)
- Stories about ancient wisdom and how it can be applied today
- Real-life, first-hand experiences of doing things to become more self sufficient in the city in an urban or suburban setting.
Contributor Requirements:
- All articles must be original and will be checked thoroughly through copyscape to verify authenticity.
- You must provide your own, original images for your article.
- All rights associated with the article will be given to bournebright upon publication.
- All submissions that get published will be entitled to an author bio/byline where you can include links to your socials and any websites you own.
- All submissions must be 1000 words or greater.
