“Special Swiss” Sweetcorn Seeds

These “Special Swiss” Sweetcorn were grown from heirloom seed I saved from previous years and are now 2 generations into my climate up here in Durham.

I grew them in my greenhouse in 2021 and got two full ears of corn off of each seed planted.

They taste very sweet and delicious if you eat them fresh from harvest with a knob of butter.

I saved the best cobs for seed and this is what you're buying here. I only saved 2 cobs for seed so stock is limited.

If you're anywhere warmer than here (more southerly, perhaps) these will do well for you under cover of a greenhouse and if you're further south still, you may get a good open air crop from these.

Time to harvest: Planted in March, harvested at end of August.
